Sea Thrift 'Splendens'
A splendid variety of (and nearly identical to) our native sea thrift with tufted foliage and sprays of pink flowers. Like our charming native wildflower, it tends to form little carpets on rocks and saltmarshes from April to July, with dense tufts of small, papery, pink flowers and grass-like grey-green leaves and slender, bare flower stalks. A much-loved little flower that will enhance any rock or coastal garden where it will sway away happily in the sea breeze.
